​A package of improvements worth £1.5m to support communities, businesses and boost employment opportunities in Inverclyde has been agreed.

Inverclyde Council has been awarded £11m to create new and refurbished commercial premises.

Work to install traffic lights and create a new junction on the A78 at Inverkip looks set to start in the first few months of 2025 — 10 years after it was first proposed.
