Plans submitted for new entertainment venue in Port Glasgow

Plans have been submitted to create a new food, drink, and entertainment venue in Port Glasgow.

The proposal, lodged with InverclydeCouncil, aims to transform an industrial unit formerly used as a blacksmith workshop into an establishment for dining and entertainment.

Situated at 34 King Street, the venue will be known as 'The Iron Works.'

With a total area of 211 square metres, images included with the application show the venue will offer a mix of a bar, multiple food stalls, a stage, and fixed seating areas on the ground floor, while the mezzanine level will provide additional seating.

The application was submitted on Monday, May 11, and is under consideration by council officials.

If permission is given, the venue will operate from 11am to 11pm from Tuesday to Thursday and Sunday, extending its hours until 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.
