Harbour Lets (Gourock) Celebrates Milestone 1,000th Booking

Harbour Lets, Gourock’s premier short-stay accommodation provider, is thrilled to celebrate a major milestone as the business welcomes its 1,000th booking since opening its doors.

This achievement highlights the business’s rapid growth and solidifies its reputation for delivering high-quality, comfortable stays with outstanding guest satisfaction.

Strategically located on the banks of the River Clyde, Harbour Lets offers exceptional access to transport links and a scenic setting that continues to attract both leisure and business travellers.

Operated by Bowman Rebecchi, the business was established with a vision to revitalise one of Gourock’s oldest buildings - the former Albert Hotel.

Harbour Lets has quickly become a top choice for visitors to Inverclyde. Since its opening in September 2023, the business has built a loyal guest base and fostered strong connections within the local community, with a 4.65 average out of 5 from bookers on Airbnb.

“We are incredibly proud to reach our 1,000th booking in such a short space of time,” said Marco Rebecchi, Co-Founder of Harbour Lets.

“This milestone reflects the dedication of our team and the high standards we aim to uphold. We’re especially grateful for the continued support of our guests and the local community.

“We also want to extend a special thanks to Josie Miller and Katy Stummer for their unwavering care and attention to detail. Their commitment has been instrumental in delivering the exceptional guest experience we strive for.”

Andrew Bowman, Co-Founder, added: “Harbour Lets represents more than just a business - it’s a passion project.

“Reviving this historic building and increasing local bed capacity has been incredibly rewarding. We’ve had the pleasure of welcoming guests from around the world, and we’re excited to continue playing a part in Gourock’s growing tourism landscape.”

To celebrate the 1,000th booking, the lucky guest received a complimentary room upgrade and a welcome gift, underscoring the business’s dedication to exceeding guest expectations.

In recognition of its contribution to local tourism and heritage, Harbour Lets received a £5,000 grant in February 2025 from the Greater Renfrewshire & Inverclyde Local Action Group (GRI LAG). The funding will support the renovation of the attic floor, enabling the addition of two new short-term let rooms.

Looking ahead, Harbour Lets plans to expand its offering, continue investing in the guest experience, and further position itself as a standout destination for short stays in Inverclyde and beyond.

This achievement marks a significant moment in the business’s journey, reflecting its rapid growth, excellent guest satisfaction, and strong reputation in the local tourism and hospitality market.
