@bowmanrebecchi 🆕 Acquisition 🏡 Property investment firm #Dalglen, owned by prominent Scottish entrepreneurs Sandy and James Easdale, has completed the acquisition of the former Glenfield Nursing Home in Greenock’s West End. The property, previously owned and operated by Greenock Medical Aid Society, was announced for closure in June 2025 following a strategic review by the charitable organisation. The decision brought an end to decades of care provision at the Glenfield site, which had long been a well-known facility within the local community. Occupying a substantial plot in one of Greenock’s most desirable residential areas, the Glenfield site sits within walking distance of the town centre and Esplanade, offering strong potential for redevelopment. Its scale and location make it an attractive opportunity for a range of potential future uses, subject to planning approval. The Easdale brothers will now take time to carefully assess all future options for the site, with a focus on ensuring any plans provide a positive and lasting contribution to the area. At this stage, no specific development proposals have been submitted 🔗Link in Bio #BowmanRebecchi #homeofproperty #commercial #fyp ♬ Seasons - Sam Austins

Commenting on the acquisition, Sandy Easdale said:
“This is a prime location within Greenock, and we’ll be carefully evaluating all options for the site in the months ahead.
“Our focus, as always, will be on ensuring that any future plans add value to the community and support the wider Inverclyde economy.”
James Easdale added:
“The West End of Greenock remains one of the area’s most desirable locations, and the former Glenfield site offers excellent potential for future development.
“We look forward to shaping plans that respect the character of the area while helping to support continued investment and growth in Inverclyde.”
