Bowman Rebecchi is thrilled to introduce its latest Intern from the Career Ready internship programme, now in its fourth year with the Gourock firm.

The Home of Property has welcomed Kassey-Leigh Masterson, a student at Notre Dame High School, to gain her work experience with her mentors, Sales Manager Kathleen Docherty and co-owner, Andrew Bowman.

The programme is to help S5 and S6 students get an idea of what the workplace is, along with a 4-week paid internship at their chosen mentor’s place of work.

Both Kathleen and Andrew are leading Kassey-Leigh through her mentorship by giving advice and showing her what they do for a living and what different roles are included in the office.

Career Ready is a UK-wide social mobility charity that links schools and colleges with employers to help prepare young people for the world of work.

Based in Gourock, Bowman Rebecchi provides specialist property management services across west-central Scotland, managing over 1,500 properties across west and central Scotland.

Commenting on the opportunity, Kassey-Leigh said: “I’m excited to be working with Both Kathleen and Andrew along with the team at Bowman Rebecchi and hope to be able to learn more about both the estate agents and architectural side of the business.

“Most of all I am very thankful to the company for allowing me to work alongside them for 4-weeks”

Statistics show that 98% of Career Ready students go on to sustained work, education, or apprenticeships following the programme and research carried out by Opinion.

Across the UK, over 1,200 young people are currently experiencing paid internships with a network of 300 employers,
